1. Certificate in Aged Care Level 3 & 4- Certificate Level 3 provides practical approach towards caring for the elderly people. Upon completion of Certificate 3, graduates may gain employment as Aged Carer. While Level 4 increases the knowledge earn from level 3. Career prospect upon completion of level 4 may include Care Supervisor or Care Team Leader.
IMPORTANT POINTS:
- PRC Licensed is NOT necessary.
- IELTS is optional.
- Work Experience is NOT necessary
- RN candidates can pursue Certificate level 4 right away.
- RN studying in Australia, can still process their Australia Nursing Registration in order for them to become Australian RN.

2. Initial Registration for Overseas Nurses (IRON)
This is an approved programme by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) designed to facilitate the transition from Nursing overseas to Nursing Australia.

Facts about WORKING WHILE STUDYING
Effective 26 April 2008 student visa holder for Australia and it's dependent were granted automatic right to work in Australia. The following are the conditions about Australia Student Visa:

Students cannot undertake any work until the course have started in Australia.

When the course is in session.students are only allowed to work a maximum of 20 hours per week while unlimited hours when the course is not in sessession.

While the dependent family members can work up to 20 hours only at all time; must not start to work until the primary holder has commenced the course in Australia.

Different Visa available for Nurses bound to Australia
1. Nurses who wish to pursue a different career in Australia
Those nurses who decided to have a change in career may opt to study in Australia leading them to a different qualification(s). Nurses may want to study Diploma course in Childcare Services, Community and Disability and Aged Care Course. If this is the intention, a Nurse may apply for STUDENT VISA in Australia. Once, the course is complete, a Nurse may have options to apply for subclass 457 and/or other route of general skilled migration leading them to Permanent Residency status in Australia.
2. Nurses who wish to pursue a nursing career in Australia.
The following are the visa options:
- Temporary Business (subclass 457)- this visa will allow a nurse to work up to 4 years.

Employer Nomination Scheme- Overseas nurses under 45 years of age with qualifications and work experience as a registered nurse, may be eligible for a permanent visa under this scheme.

Skilled Migration - this visa is valid for skilled workers such as nurses who want to live in Australia and who do not have an employer sponsoring them.

Short Stay Business Visa- is an ideal visa for nurses doing the IRON course.

NURSE EDUCATOR/CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR

Provides clinical and theoritical education to and promote professional development of nurses.

Is included in the Australia Skilled Occupation List.

Must be assess by VETASSESS. May not be required to under go the IRON.

Must be a bachelor's degree holder or higher and 5 years relevant work experience.

Can consider migrating to Australia under this occupation.
Nurse Ambulance- Need not to be RN. 3 years work experience is an advantage.
